Summer is a time to get outside and wander about our wonderful local landscapes. Luckily for Wadebridge, Sliggon Field at Trebetherick will be opening to the public for the National Garden Scheme on Sunday and Monday, between 11am and 5pm.
This exciting garden has several distinct areas and is set out on different levels which are all connected by a network of gravel pathways. The garden features herbaceous borders, a copse, lawns, mature bushes, tree ferns, raised beds for vegetables, a wild area and wood ferns. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the beauty of this very special spot, costing £6 entry, with children going free.
Money raised will support a range of health and nursing charities, including Marie Curie, Macmillan Cancer Care and Parkinson's UK.
