Endelienta Arts announces new CEO and artistic director

Endelienta Arts, the North Cornwall-based arts charity, has announced the appointment of Nicola Nuttall as its new Chief Executive Officer and Artistic Director.

Chair of Endelienta Arts, Melvyn Roffe MBE, said: “The Trustees are delighted to be welcoming Nicola Nuttall as our new CEO and Artistic Director. She brings a huge amount of experience, skill and insight to the work of Endelienta Arts and we look forward to working with her to extend and deepen the impact which our charity has in our local area and further afield.”

Dedicated to delivering exceptional artistic experiences and expanding access to the arts for young people, Endelienta Arts programmes span music, literature, Cornish language residencies, community clubs, family theatre and reflective events throughout the year.

Nicola brings extensive experience from the charity and cultural sector. For the past five years, she has served as Director of the Charles Causley Trust, where she has played a central role in developing its literary programme, including work connected with the Launceston Poetry Festival. Nicola will continue her work with the Charles Causley Trust alongside her new role at Endelienta Arts.

Nicola Nuttall said: “I first came to North Cornwall in 1989 with my soon-to-be Cornish husband and instantly fell in love with its history and landscape — recognising it as somewhere quite extraordinary. St Endellion represents the best of Cornwall — where music, spirituality, arts and heritage come together, offering experiences for time well spent, set in a deeply special place.”

Each year, Endelienta Arts works with over 1,200 young people through its Take Part programme, delivering creative opportunities in schools and communities across North Cornwall. Its year-round music programme brings leading UK and international artists to the region, while its literature strand includes the acclaimed North Cornwall Book Festival.
