Esteemed children's author Sir Michael Morpurgo will be attending the service to spread an important message about the spirit of Christmas with his moving piece, ‘Old Harry & The Carol Singers’.

This very special service will also feature music from St Mary Magdalene Church Choir, led by director Sean Sweeney.

The service takes place at St Torney’s from 6.30pm this evening (doors open at 6pm). Guests should dress warmly. There will be a service collection supporting the Churches Conservation Trust and Michael Morpurgo's charity, Farms for City Children.
