Falmouth BID Unveils Spooky Halloween Spectacular in Town Centre
Falmouth is set to come alive with spine-chilling fun and community creativity as Falmouth BID launches an exciting Halloween initiative designed to bring locals and visitors into the heart of the town. From haunted street theatre to creatively spooky shop windows, there’s something for everyone this half term.

At the centre of the Halloween happenings is the Spooky Window Competition. Local businesses recently transformed their windows into scenes of eerie enchantment, from creepy cobwebs and glowing pumpkins to ghoulish surprises and ghostly displays. Prizes will be awarded in three categories: Large Window, Small Window, and the Primary School Top Pick.
Adding to the excitement, Falmouth BID is supporting The Falmouth Halloween Haunting, an immersive street theatre production by Falmouth Uncovered. Back by popular demand, this atmospheric experience invites audiences to follow our local ghost through the streets of Falmouth as a gruesome murder mystery and its chilling paranormal legacy are revealed. Be warned – when you go looking for the dead, they might be looking right back…
Performance dates are Thursday 30th, Friday 31st October and Saturday 1st November at 8.15pm-9.15pm, starting at The Poly.
Will of Falmouth Uncovered said: "The Falmouth Halloween Haunting is a work of fiction, but it’s inspired by the rich history and atmospheric streets of Falmouth. I wanted to create something that feels rooted in the town’s character while giving audiences a spine-tingling story to lose themselves in. It’s an immersive experience where the streets themselves become part of the stage, and I can’t wait to share it this Halloween."
Tickets are limited, so those wanting to experience this unique blend of storytelling and theatre are encouraged to check The Poly’s website for booking details.
For fans of ghostly tales beyond Halloween, Falmouth Uncovered also offers the Falmouth Ghost Tour, a spooky-yet-fun exploration of the town’s haunted history, perfect for those intrigued by Falmouth's dark side. The tour will be running Monday - Saturday during half term (6pm - 7pm).
Falmouth BID Manager, Keren Cooksey, said: "Falmouth is such a unique town, with a wonderful mix of independent businesses alongside national names. It’s fantastic to see our town come to life with fun, creativity, and a little bit of spookiness. Halloween is the perfect way to encourage people to come into Falmouth, explore everything our town has to offer, and enjoy a safe, memorable half term experience – and hopefully keep coming back long after the pumpkins are packed away."
