With family fun and activities available throughout the day, and the sun shining, the carnival on Saturday saw a huge turnout from the community. It proves that carnivals and other events are integral to bringing the community together.

A spokesperson from Bodmin Carnival Committee said: "Bodmin Carnival Committee were delighted with the success of this year’s carnival, which was bigger and better than ever!

"Blessed with good weather, we heard lively bands and received lots of fabulous entries. It was wonderful to see the procession route lined with so many people joining in the party atmosphere.

"We are so grateful to have the support of our wonderful community who make the day what it is and we’re already planning for Bodmin Carnival 2026. We would welcome new members who would like to help."
