Beautiful displays at Withiel Flower Festival
Expect beautiful displays of Cornwall’s finest flowers at the biannual Withiel Flower Festival, taking place over the late May bank holiday from Saturday 23rd to Monday 25th May.

St Clements Church in Withiel will be a hive of activity over the Whitsun bank holiday weekend, with floral displays set to take over the church and an art exhibition taking place in the village hall.
Open daily from 10am to 5pm, there will be music on the organ, plus art demonstrations. This year’s theme is ‘Hobbies’, featuring flower exhibits from the local panto group and craft group, plus professional flower arrangers. From birdwatching and woodworking, to amateur dramatics, astronomy and more, the 28 arrangements will depict the wide variety of hobbies and passions that people in the community enjoy.
Over in the village hall, an art exhibition will showcase the work of local artists, potters and sculptors. There will also be a chance to grab a treat, with refreshments, lunches and cream teas.
Withiel Flower Festival has been a biannual event since the 1980s and is the church's main fundraiser. People from all over Cornwall come to the flower festival to see the flowers, browse the art exhibition and enjoy lunch in a quaint corner of the Cornish countryside.
There is free parking at the village hall. Visit https://withielflowerfestival.co.uk/ for more information.
