Falmouth Spring Clean: Brightening up our town

On Wednesday, 25th March, between 10am 1pm, people in the community are invited to get stuck into the annual Falmouth Spring Clean.

Whether it’s scrubbing signs and removing graffiti, doing some gardening around the town, or collecting litter from one of the local beaches, the event is giving volunteers, businesses and community partners the chance to do something rewarding, with a sense of ‘giving back’ to the town before the busy season arrives.

Run by Falmouth Town Council and Falmouth BID, with support from local organisations and businesses, the team will identify key areas of the town that could benefit from a little spring refresh which volunteers will then be able to tackle. There will be activity at Swanpool beach, Dracaena Fields, Pendennis headland, the Green Corridor, the full length of the main road in the town centre, plus more locations to be announced closer to the time.

The Falmouth Spring Clean is a wonderful opportunity to volunteer some spare time to your community, meet new people, and get outside in the fresh air.
