The carnival, which is to go ahead on Saturday, 19th July, is set to be a day of fun for all the family, and a chance for groups, businesses, neighbours and friends to gather together, dress up and celebrate.

This much-loved community event is organised each year by a team of volunteers, who work all year round to fundraise and put on a memorable event for the town. From big breakfasts to quizzes held throughout the year, it's the fundraising and dedication from the volunteers that make the carnival possible and put smiles on the faces of people in the community, young and old alike!
