Falmouth Theatre Company is marking its 100th year in 2026, and to celebrate the cast will be putting a brand new production on the stage. Their launch night on Wednesday 8th October hopes to attract new performers to find out about how they can take part.

With its centenary year in 2026, Falmouth Theatre Company are looking forward to celebrating with the community. The cast will be bringing The Sound of Music to the Princess Pavilion stage, and now they're looking for budding performers and crew members to get involved in this exciting new production.
The company has been entertaining the masses for 100 years, only missing a few years of performances due to leaving their old rehearsal space. Since 2023, they have celebrated two sell-out shows at the Princess Pavilion: Joseph and His Technicolour Dreamcoat, and Young Frankenstein - both of which have drawn large audiences and new members.
On Wednesday, 8th October, the company will hold a launch night starting at 7.30pm at Malborough School, where they're inviting anyone - including children aged 5+ - to attend to learn more about the director's and musical directors' visions for the show, how to take part, and jot down important audition and rehearsal dates. The company are keen to meet enthusiastic people with a passion for performance, and to help them put on yet another amazing show at the Princess Pavilion.
