Riders and horse lovers are invited to experience the thrill of endurance riding this May as the Colquite Estate Ride takes place on Saturday 10th May at Colquite Estate, Washaway, near Bodmin.

Hosted by the South West group, this special event forms part of Endurance GB’s 25th anniversary celebrations, offering a full day of riding across one of Cornwall’s most beautiful estates.
Endurance riding is a long-distance equestrian sport focused on partnership, fitness, and horse welfare. Organised by Endurance GB—the national governing body for the sport in Great Britain—it offers riders the chance to explore the countryside over safe, well-marked routes.
With distances starting from just 16km, the sport is open to riders of all abilities. Horses are checked by qualified vets before, during, and after the ride to ensure their wellbeing is always the top priority.
As Endurance GB celebrates its 25th anniversary, events like the Colquite Estate Ride showcase everything that makes the sport special: adventure, community, and a shared love of horses.
The Colquite Estate Ride offers something for every rider, from newcomers to experienced competitors. Distances range from 16km pleasure rides through to 64km graded endurance rides, with both competitive and non-competitive options available.
