'SkillSHARE has built my confidence, and I have met some wonderful people, just chatting with others who have struggled with many of the same things has been such a help to me,' - So says just one of our many SkillSHARErs who come together each Tuesday afternoon to upcycle furniture, get crafty, and try their hand at art.

Now celebrating four years of creativity, SkillSHARE is led by a team from Light and Life Church. With a number of SkillSHARErs now in full-time employment and others finding life just that little bit easier, it’s a testimony to the church’s strapline to be 'believing in Bodmin'.

Another regular member said: “So many of us there have been through hard times, struggled through many different situations. Having a space to learn new arts and crafts, meet people, have a cuppa and unwind has been a life saver for me, as I am sure it has been for several of us.”

SkillSHARE has proved to be an important space for members, giving them the opportunity to learn new skills and meet likeminded people.
