Cornwall Antiques Fair - Saturday and Sunday
For the second time this year, Cornwall Antiques Fair will be at the Royal Cornwall Showground this Saturday AND Sunday - the perfect day out for vintage enthusiasts, collectors, or those looking for some unique old finds for the home.
The event will feature a wide range of dealers who are set to bring their antiques, salvage, collectables and craft items with them.
Making the event even more special, the fair will have a classic vehicles display, plus plenty of entertainment for children, refreshments to keep you fuelled through the browsing, and much more. Owl Show and Tell will be at the fair with Nina the owl from 11am-1pm on both days too!
Tickets are £5 after 9am.

Cowslip Quilt Exhibition - until Sunday
In the depths of the leafy countryside on the outskirts of Launceston, Cowslip Workshops and Cafe is running a special exhibition displaying the work of stitchers and makers until Sunday.
A cottage core dream come true, the exhibition currently features work by Sue Stitchbury and watercolour artist Karen Burgess (The Dartmoor Flower Shed), as well as pieces made by talented members of the public. After browsing the exhibition and gathering some inspiration, why not pop into the shop to pick up some supplies for your own crafts, head into Churchview Vintage - which can be found in one of the barns - to treat yourself to some lovely vintage wares, or grab a delicious lunch in the cafe!
Entry to the exhibition is £5, open 10am-4pm until Sunday 24th August.

Cornwall Folk Festival - Thursday to Monday

It’s back and ready to make some noise across Wadebridge this bank holiday weekend! Cornwall Folk Festival is set to present the very best of the folk world to Cornwall, with musicians taking over different corners and venues of Wadebridge to bring their unique sounds and voices to the public.
With more than 50 acts, there will be something for everyone across the weekend. Kickstarting today, and officially opening with a Nos Lowen festival dance with Bagas Fellyon at Wadebridge Town Hall this evening, Wadebridge will be buzzing with the sound of traditional and contemporary folk and Americana - day and night - until Monday.
Headliners are: The Henry Girls, Merry Hell, The Magpies, Tim Edey, Jackie Oates with Mike Cosgrave, Bagas Fellyon, Piskie Trap, The Countrymen, Martha Woods, Wake the River, Humm, and Nicole Tessyman - plus many more names throughout the weekend.

Great Trethew Vintage Rally - All weekend
Held in the fields of Blackadon Farm, Horningtops, this annual vintage rally promises three days of fun for all the family across the bank holiday weekend.
Whether you just want a day out to admire the vintage vehicles, or fancy camping across the weekend to take in the atmosphere, this is a great event in the Cornish calendar!

Wadebridge Camels vs Launceston, CRFU Super Cup Final - Saturday
In a nail-biting final, watch Wadebridge Camels take on Launceston at the Molesworth Field on Saturday, with a 3.30pm kick off.
If you fancy filling your Saturday with rugby, head over even earlier to catch the CRFU Senior Cup final between Truro and Bude at 1pm!

Wadebridge Raft Race - Saturday
Grab a good spot to watch the annual raft race on the Camel Estuary on Saturday night. Rafts will be entering the water at 6.30pm, after a safety briefing for entrants at 6pm, and will set off at 7pm from the start line, just past the main bridge, and paddle up river to pass Annekas Bridge, and back again.
There will be trophies for the winners and best dressed raft, but most importantly it is a fun event for participants and the audience alike!
Lanivet Inn Charity Beer and Cider Festival - Sunday
Drag out the bank holiday celebrations at the Lanivet Inn’s Beer and Cider Festival this Sunday.
With live music and entertainment, a barbecue, and a huge range of beers and ciders, the festival is wrapped up to be an excellent event to celebrate our county’s brewing heritage, and raise some money for local causes! Johnny Cowling, Fifty Fathom Down, Rotten Mango
The pub has organised a mini bus to do pick-ups and drop-offs to the festival for those coming from Bodmin, Roche, Bugle and Luxulyan. Please note this is not a return service.

46 Crew Bike and Hotrod Show - Monday
Join 46 Crew at Wendron Cricket and Football Club on Bank Holiday Monday for their charity bike and hotrod show, raising funds for Man Down Cornwall.
Whether you want to show off your skills in one of the bike show classes (£5 per category to enter, registration at 11am), or simply want to have a fun day out with the family, the show has something for everyone and is raising money for an important local cause.
There will be live music, a bouncy castle and entertainment, traders, food and bar, and much more.
Entrance to the show is £5 per family (2 adults and 3 children), and an additional £2 per person. Open 10am-4pm.

Mayor’s Tide Race - Sunday
Support the Mayor in raising funds for Pendennis Leisure, who hope to establish a new swimming pool in Falmouth.
This is a challenge for all ages, taking place at Maenporth beach on Sunday, 12pm-6pm.
All you have to do is build a sandcastle strong enough to stand against the coming tide! Entry is £5 for adults and £2.50 for children. Bring your buckets and spades, gather shells and driftwood for extra structural support, and see what you can make with family and friends.
