Autumn beauty awaits at Trebartha Estate Garden

Trebartha Estate Garden, near North Hill, Launceston, will open its gates to visitors on Sunday 18 October, offering the chance to explore one of Cornwall’s most atmospheric gardens while supporting a range of important nursing and health charities.

Opening from 1pm to 4pm as part of the National Garden Scheme, Trebartha Estate is a garden of vast vistas, wild waterfalls and tremendous trees – and autumn provides the perfect backdrop for a visit.

Featured in the current October/November issue of Cornwall Life Magazine, the gardens will be at their seasonal best, with changing colours, fallen leaves and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the tranquillity of this beautiful estate.

It’s also an outing the whole family can enjoy. Children can embrace the simple pleasure of rustling through autumn leaves, while four-legged visitors can enjoy a countryside walk. For everyone else, there are spectacular views, peaceful surroundings and the tempting prospect of a delicious homemade tea.

Most importantly, every visit helps raise funds through the National Garden Scheme for a range of nursing and health charities, including Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie and Parkinson’s UK.

So, whether you are looking for an autumn afternoon in the great outdoors, a family day out or simply somewhere beautiful to escape to for a few hours, Trebartha Estate Garden offers plenty of reasons to pull on your boots and head for North Hill.
